Welcome to 2019! The real estate market is off to a rollicking start. So how have things changed since the second half of 2018? There has been an increase in the number of homes on the market in North Texas, and the increase in prices from 2018 has leveled off somewhat. We are not seeing as many multiple offers on homes, but if they are priced right, they are still selling in a short time. The toughest price range to find a home is under $200,000. Not as many of those available as we’d like. Patience will pay off, though. However, if you are looking under $300,000, you can find some great homes that are brand new, all around the metroplex. They will be located on the perimeter of Dallas/Fort Worth, where there is more land to build on. Many of these new subdivisions offer great amenities and lots of extras with each new home build.
